1964 Alleykatz - Guitarist for the most popular band on the Belfast circuit at the time.
1966 Gigs with Van Morrison (post THEM) in Northern Ireland. Toured England and Europe with a variety of bands
Eire Apparent. See biography page for more details. At his time, Mick also worked with Van Morrison on the Astral Weeks demos.
Magnet. Mick formed and toured the U.S. with this band which went on to have a single chart in America. Also worked with Arrival, Laurie Styvers and Hank Wangford.
1972 Toured England and Ireland with Arrival who hit No.1 in the U.K with their song Friends.
1973 Mick Cox Band. Mick's solo album charted in the U.S with over 50,000 sales.
1974 Kokomo. Mick formed this band with some of the members of Arrival
Recording sessions and live work with various artists including Rosetta Hightower and Kim Beacon
Van Morrison. Played on Common One and toured the U.S. and Europe including playing with the great John Lee Hooker.
1985 Van Morrison. Played on Poetic Champions Compose and toured Europe.
Mick toured the U.K with his own band and performed three concerts with the Felinfach Orchestra and the Felinfach male voice choir.
Also played on The Philisophers Stone.
1987 Wrekin Trust. The Sacred Heart of Music. Seminar researching the healing power of music at Loughborough University. Mick performed with Van, Anthony Rooley and The Consort of Musicke, Derek Bell (The Chieftans) and Robin Williamson. Performed at the Glastonbury Festival with Van Morrison.


Lee Fardon. Mick arranged, co-produced and played guitar and harmonica on Too Close to the Fire. Also toured Italy with Lee.
1993 Lee Fardon Trio. With Jo Garret completeing the trio, Mick and Lee completed a very successful tour of Italy.
1995 Mick released his second album Compose Yourself which featured Van Morrison, Mel Collins and Laverne Brown.
2003 Reload. Recording sessions for this Tom Jones album.
